Saving North Frodingham Village Hall
Seven years ago North Frodingham Parish Council initiated a survey, under the auspices of the Countryside Agency, to find out what residents felt about living in North Frodingham. From this an Action Plan was prepared to set about dealing with the problems that had emerged. Top of the list was the Social Centre. The Village Hall was declared to be smelly, dirty, old and decrepit. Not surprising, it had been used as a canteen during WWII and, apart from being extended in 1964, had had limited essential work since.
