20th April 2015
The fund is to be used to provide support for strategic projects within North Lincolnshire Council's boundary and successful projects will have the potential to make a significant and sustainable difference to people within the region.
There are three;priority areas; These are:-
Increase job opportunities and employment in North Lincolnshire
Enable communities to develop renewable energy schemes or energy efficiency programmes
Enhance North Lincolnshire's natural and built environment
Groups or organisations which need funding to support projects or activities consistent with the priority areas listed above are eligible to apply; The organisation must have a constitution (governing document or set of rules) and be set up on a not-for-profit basis. Although applications will be accepted from across the North Lincolnshire region, extra weighting will be given to projects that will benefit the areas around SSE's existing developments in the area, namely Keadby power station and Keadby wind farm.
