The resulting Community Led Plan forms a blueprint for use by Town/Parish Councils and other local bodies, as well as providing evidence for funding bids to enable the actions identified to be completed.

East Riding Broadband Update
1st July 2015
As part of a further £5.4m investment, a second phase of the programme has recently been announced which will see an additional 4,500 properties connected to superfast broadband by December 2017. BT has also been chosen to partner with East Riding of Yorkshire Council for the delivery of the second phase, following a procurement exercise through the Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) National Procurement Framework.
The latest programme developments are available at www.broadband.eastriding.gov.uk. The website includes interactive maps of the phase 1 roll-out plans and a list of those areas which have been upgraded and are already ‘live’. Further updates will be posted onto the website as soon as they are available.
Broadband Business Connection Voucher Scheme Charities and small and medium sized businesses in the East Riding may be eligible for a voucher of up to £3,000 to help them connect to faster, better broadband, as part of the national Connection Voucher Scheme.
