There are 10,000 village halls nationwide which are managed by 80,000 volunteers, what’s not to celebrate?

Village Halls are the hearts of our communities.  They bring people together, thus tackling loneliness and isolation, they host various activities such as crafting, exercise classes, film nights, social events and some also provide vital services that rural communities would otherwise lose such as Post Offices and shops.

Behind each village hall is a committee made up of volunteers who work tirelessly in running the hall and keeping it sustainable for future generations.

Village Halls Week runs from 20 January to 26 January.
