The East Riding Stronger TogetherCovid-19 Fund

Funding Projects: £500.00 to £5,000 Areas Covered: East Riding of Yorkshire Introduction: Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSE) in the East Riding are working together to respond to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The East Riding VCSE Network has established a new fund and consultancy support to help voluntary sector organisations during this crisis.

Village Hall Advisory Service

There are 10,000 village halls in England which represents the largest network of community-owned facilities in rural Britain. At the heart of rural community life, they provide a hub for social activities, classes and services such as post offices, doctors’ surgeries and shops.

Tackling False Information surrounding Coronavirus

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is leading a campaign to help tackle the spread of false information about the COVID-19 vaccine. We have developed tailored social media posts fronted by trusted community members (faith leaders, clinicians and community leaders). These posts include simple tips on how to spot false information, critically analyse sources and stop its spread, signposting to the NHS as the most accurate source of information about the COVID19 vaccine.

Understanding Diversity and Engagement in the Humber, Coast and Vale Region

An opportunity to receive £100 for your charity by completing the survey. This research is being conducted on behalf of the Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership's VCSE Leadership Group and the Two Ridings Community Foundation to gain a more thorough understanding of the Humber Coast and Vale region's diversity and current engagement with services and funding.

This year’s theme is ‘protect our children’s health from air pollution’ Did you know ? Every year, air pollution causes up to 36,000 deaths in the UK.
