Men in Sheds Developmnent

Men in Sheds Beverley is a new project currently under development, as is Mkt. Weighton, Pocklington, Goole & sheds established in Bridlington & Withernsea.

Haltemprice Men In Sheds

We will be running two information events on 11 September 2019 Anlaby Community Centre and a final event in Cottingham on the 9 October 2019. After these events I will be inviting all interested parties to a meeting to get the development process for the shed underway. In the meantime if you are aware of any available properties that may be suitable for Men in Sheds to operate from. I have attached a template for you to complete with the details of any such properties you have identified. Please add the outcome of any research you have done on the property to the form as aware some of you have premises in mind. When we meet we can all discuss the merits of the properties identified and then either visit or discount as ‘Shedders’ feel appropriate. I have also attached an expression of interest form for becoming a trustee of the shed as we will need 5-7 people to step forward to be the 1st trustees of the charity which will be set up to allow the shed to access funding and mange it own shed. We will need a treasurer, Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary & Membership officer (see attached for key role descriptions). Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss anything related to premises and becoming a trustee.
