Take part in this free workshop exploring ideas on how community led housing can be developed. Community led housing offers the opportunity for anyone to take charge of their own housing solutions.
If you are already involved in getting a group off the ground or have specific ideas for a new project then this workshop could be for you.
Learn from experts in the field of community led housing provision including:
Graham Brookfield – community housing lead at Homes England, the leading affordable housing investor in England and Wales
Jez Ince – local representative of the Charity Bank
Martin Booth – committee member for the award winning Hudswell Community Charity
Peg Alexander – Journalist and CLH support worker with Community Led Homes
David Siddle - Rural Housing Enabler for the Council
Peter Hirschfeld - Community support officer for Humber and Wolds Rural Action
This event is being organised by Humber and Wolds Rural Action in conjunction with Housing Strategy at East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The workshop will also feature a video blog from leading regional journalist, Peg Alexander and the YouTube video of the Hudswell community led housing experience
