Access free energy advisors
As part of our partnership with Citizens Advice we fund specialist energy advisors who provide customers with support when it comes to changing their supplier, checking tariffs, solving billing issues and progressing concerns with their chosen energy supplier. The 'Powergrid Care Advisors' help thousands of customers get advice and support to save £100s a year. To contact a Citizens Advice 'Powergrid Care Advisor' or find out more about free energy advice clinics call 0800 4480721 (North East and West Yorkshire).
At Northern Powergrid we want to help our customers. If you have money worries, you can get clear impartial help, that’s on your side, backed by Government and free to use via: Money Helper or by calling 0800 138 7777.
Worried about debts or have missed payments? There is free, confidential and independent debt advice available. The government sponsored MoneyHelper can direct you to a debt adviser straight away by telephone or you can get support online via: Money Adviser Network
Sharing energy saving advice
We’ve launched a new digital campaign with a short animation to help our customers save energy and money. If you’re active on social media, you might see it over the coming weeks. Please give it a ‘share’, if you do, so your friends can also benefit from these energy efficiency tips too. Clicker here to watch.
